The Best Fish & Chips in Toronto as per blogTO!

Our very own  Olde York Fish and Chips is at the top of the list!

Leaside residents have been enjoying solid fish suppers since 1997 at this pub-style chippy where the house specialties are haddock ($12), halibut ($15) and cod ($12) served up with crisp hand cut fries, tangy tartar sauce and slaw.   www.oldeyorkefishandchips.com at 96 Laird Drive

Fish St. Market and Open Kitchen

Anthony D'Ambrosio, a one-time chef at Five Doors North and recent catering company owner, took it upon himself to bring the ocean to Yonge and Eglinton. Or something close enough.
Located in Midtown, this fishmonger lets diners select the from daily catch on display and then have it cooked up any way they like to order. The menu is extensive and varied, but the fried fish (served on a stick for easy eating) should not be overlooked - choices include succulent, moist fillets of haddock, cod or halibut ($14-$17) encased in a light, golden batter.
Fish St. Market and Open Kitchen is at 2584 Yonge St (north of Briar Hill).
