Did you know about the new draft city-wide zoning bylaw?

The City of Toronto is in the process of creating a new Zoning Bylaw, and a draft is now available for public comment. The document is available online at www.toronto.ca/zoning as several (very large) PDF files, or as browsable text. There is also an interactive map you can use to find the draft zoning information for a particular part of the city.

This is an important process, as regulations contained in the final bylaw will apply to all buildings and properties across Toronto, but it's hard to imagine many members of the public will have the time to digest the draft in its entirety.   To learn more about the draft bylaw and zoning in general, visit www.toronto.ca/zoning.
