SCOTIABANK BUSKERFEST (IN SUPPORT OF EPILEPSY TORONTO) DOES MORE THAN ENTERTAIN!
The Scotiabank BuskerFest is Toronto’s wildly successful international street performer festival. Now in its 12th wacky and wonderful year, the festival has evolved into the largest of its kind in North America, and a showcase for 100’s of the most spectacular street performers on earth.
For four days and four nights, this year’s festival features some of the most unique pogo-sticking, hula-hooping, fire-breathing, artistic juggling, body-contorting, whip-cracking, plate-spinning, unicycle-lassoing performances from around the world! In fact, we’ve never been more international with performers from Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Returning this year is “Magic Corner”, our stage behind the FlatIron Building devoted to magic, and the Fionn MacCool’s Beer Garden on Church St (south of Front). We’ve brought back the raised stage in Berczy Park for increased audience visibility and numerous Benefit shows where performers put on an outstanding group show with outrageous amounts of skill and talent all in support of Epilepsy Toronto.
