Tough times will toughen up Blue Jays

The 2010 season ‘will be a challenge for sure,’ team’s TV voice says - many baseball pundits are likening the 2010 Toronto Blue Jays season to the Slaughter of the Innocents. Don’t include new Blue Jays TV voice Buck Martinez among the pessimists, however.

And on a personal note. As many of you probably know I'm a huge hockey fan and you may have guessed by now that I'm also a huge baseball fan! I had season tickets when the Jays won the Championships in 1992 & 1993 and it was the most glorious feeling to be right there with them every step of the way! So regardless of all the nay-sayers...give the Jays a chance and go to a game when you can. A stadium packed with fans is the best way to fire them up!

Don’t miss out on all the action this year starting with the home opener with the Jays hosting the Chicago White Sox on April 12th at 7:20pm. Millions of dollars in facility renovations have re-energized Rogers Centre!
