In Davisville... 'Best crossing guard in the world'

For those of you, like me, who walk or drive through Davisville every morning, Mrs. Mona Piper the crossing guard is an institution! If I don't see her there in the morning, I think "Is it Saturday and someone forgot to tell me?"

I am very happy to report this bit of fantastic news....last month, Mrs. Piper was honoured by Lt. Gov. David Onley, receiving the Senior's Achievement Award for her work on her little corner of the city and as the head of the Crossing Guards' Association.

Congratulations Mrs. Piper and thank you for your ongoing commitment in our community!
